Vehicle Description
Check out this meathead of a car. GM has a long-celebrated history associated with the Caprice namesake. Some say there was a restaurant frequented by GM Legend Bob Lund and that's the origin of said name, other mention it was named after auto exec James Chapman's daughter. Either which way, the Caprice name has been around since the 60s. The 6th generation Caprice was only sold in the US as a law enforcement vehicle (PPV) which only gave us small taste of this greatness. Obviously this chassis is the same as the Pontiac G8 and various Holden vehicles overseas so there is some parts availability. On top of that, this car comes with GM's tried and true small block V8, 6 liters of displacement and 355 HP. The PPV has various updates over the other vehicles that used the same chassis; special seating to accommodate the officer's belt, a performance tuned suspension, and different sport tuned calibrations for both engine and trans. This vehicle has seen a bunch of upgrades/updates beyond what Chevy offered, first of which being a complete exterior respray in Subaru Alpine Green. Turning attention to under the hood, this vehicle has a set of long tube headers, BTR Red Hot Cam, K&N intake, custom exhaust, and custom dyno tune.
