REV is proud to offer this 1969 Datsun 510 2-Door Sedan, finished in Nissan Gray Metallic over Nissan Liquid Silver two-tone clearcoat paint. The paint scheme pays homage to the BRE Datsun race cars of the 70's, and this is an officially licensed tribute car.
This 510 is a resto-mod, rebuilt from the ground up around 5 years ago. Now powered by a fuel injected 2.4L KA24-DE, and 5-speed manual from a 240SX, this lightweight vintage sports car really moves! Power is transferred to the rear wheels via an R160 rear limited-slip differential. To further modernize the car, a Vintage Air A/C and heater has been installed.
The suspension is completely upgraded as well, with Ground Control and Troy Ermish Racing coilovers, Eibach springs, Datsport crossmember, larger anti-sway bars, and Tein camber plates. Braking performance is enhanced by four-piston Wilwood calipers/rotors up front and S13-sourced calipers/rotors in the rear, both with stainless steel lines, a 280ZX master cylinder, and a B210 brake booster.
The wheels are genuine 16" multi-piece Watanabe's, finished in black with a chrome lip, mounted to Yokohama S.drive tires in sizes 195/40 up front and 215/40 at the rear.
Inside you will find upgraded two-tone cloth seats from a Toyota MR2, and retractable Datsport three-point safety belts. A rear mounted Autopower roll bar, and OMP pedal pads have been installed. Under the carpet you'll find Dynamat insulation. New weatherstripping from Datsport was installed, new vinyl headliner, and replacement kick panels, parcel shelf, rear firewall, trunk side panels, and spare-tire cover from Techno Toy Tuning. A windshield-wiper motor from a Mazda 626 is utilized, and the battery has been relocated to the trunk. A MOMO steering wheel has been installed, along with digital LED gauges from AutoMeter. The wiring harness was completely replaced, and upgraded with one from Speedway Motors.
Moving under the hood to gaze upon the KA24-DE engine, you'll be taken aback by the powdercoated valve cover, polished intake manifold, Wolf Creek Racing cold-air intake, ceramic-coated exhaust headers, S14 distributor, and an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The fuel tank has been modified with a 300ZX pump flange and an in-tank pump, and an aftermarket fuel-pressure regulator is utilized.
There have been a total of 2,515 miles driven on this build since completion in 2019. Restoration started as a rust-free California car, and the attention to detail on this build really shows. Don't miss your chance to own this BRE Tribute 1969 Datsun 510!
